Bucatini Carbonara review by Troikatherine
The Bucatini Carbonara is a crowd pleaser for a reason. It's creamy, and perfectly savory from the pancetta and grana padano. What I love is the pasta is never overcooked. It's perfectly al dente with flavor in each and every bite. Sapori Trattoria never disappoints!

What an amazing meal. The ambience was incredible. Such a cozy traditional Italian spot. The penne was so decadent and delicious. I would 100% recommend this to anyone traveling to Chicago! I hope I get the chance to go back.

We came to Sapori on a double date with another couple and we all tried a different entree! My orders was the Cappallacci all'Aragosta and it was FANTASTIC! I am always trying to find the best seafood pasta and this did not disappoint! On top of all the seafood being cooked to perfection the Vodka sauce was to die for. Sapori does not disappoint from the overall ambiance, service, drinks and declicious food! We can't wait to go back.

My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and had such a great experience. I had the Gnocchi al Brivido and it was delicious. The gnocchi was so soft and flavorful, and the sauce was amazing. My boyfriend had the braised short rib and it was also incredible, really tender and full of flavor. We ended up getting the bread pudding for dessert and it was the perfect way to finish the meal. The service was wonderful throughout the whole dinner, and the restaurant had such a cozy, intimate atmosphere. We both left saying we definitely want to come back!

By far the BEST Chilean Sea Bass I've ever had. I've been going to Sapori Trattoria for years and it's my go to dish every time. It's buttery, mild, and falls apart in the best way possible. I don't know what they put in the sauce (dreams and angel tears, maybe?) but it elevates the fish and keeps me coming back. Even if you're not a big seafood person but willing to try, you will not go wrong with this dish!

I love the bucatini carbonara. I first had it years ago when I moved to the neighborhood and though I know there's other options on the menu, I come back to this one every time! The house-made pasta is delicious and the sauce is not too eggy, not too cheesy, not too salty. It's great!

This is one of my favorite pasta dishes in a city full of great pasta. It used to be great, but it seems they may use different noodles now, and I like it even more. The carbonara is just right- not too light or heavy. It's so flavorful and the pasta is always cooked perfectly. I've wanted to try so many other pastas here but honestly every time I come in I usually just end up getting the carbonara!
